　「薬学部６年制が実施されてそろそろ２０年となり、西洋医薬品国内自給の目的で明治期に始まった薬剤師教育の化学系偏重教育はその約百年後に６年制を軸とした医療教育が充実して来たようである。唯、分析化学・有機化学・天然物学などの高いレベルの化学系教育は薬学教育の中で勢力を失い、生物化学・薬理学・毒性学・対人物学などの非化学系部分が主流となる学問が薬学教育の中で中心科目となって来た。先日右臀部の拳大の皮下腫瘍除去手術をS医大の形成外科でして貰ったが、この時も昔はなかった薬剤師による病床服薬指導の時間（５分程度）があった。主として持参した現在使用中の薬（医療機関や私費で購入した薬など）と院内使用・服用薬のチェックを行い患者と主治医・看護師にその様子を伝えることを目的とするものであろうが、当初に比べて病院内でも何とか落ち着いた制度になっている様だ。

　S医大の歯科口腔外科や消化器内科・外科のカルテには私が薬剤師であることは記録されている筈だが、今回の形成外科のカルテにはこの記述は載っていないのか、今回の病床服薬指導薬剤師からはそれに関する情報は聞かれなかった。服薬指導についても病棟薬剤師からは特に特別な発言はなかったが、症状的にも今回の入院では服薬的に問題のあるケースはなかったのだろうと思う。

　”It has been almost 20 years since the six-year school system of pharmacy was implemented, and pharmacist education, which began in the Meiji period with the aim of achieving domestic self-sufficiency in Western pharmaceuticals, focused heavily on chemistry, but about 100 years later, medical education centered on the six-year system has been enriched. 　However, high-level chemical education such as analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, and natural physics has lost its influence in pharmaceutical education, and has been replaced by biochemistry, pharmacology, toxicology, interpersonal science, etc. 　Non-chemical subjects have become a central subject in pharmaceutical education.　The other day, I had surgery to remove a fist-sized subcutaneous tumor from my right hip at the plastic surgery department of S Medical School. 　There was time (approximately 5 minutes) for pharmacists to give instructions on medication administration at the hospital, which was not available in the past.　The patient mainly checked the medicines they were currently using (medications purchased at medical institutions or with private funds) and the medicines used in the hospital. 　Although the purpose is probably to inform the attending doctors and nurses about the situation, it seems that the system has become somewhat calmer within the hospital compared to the beginning.

　The medical records for dental and oral surgery and gastrointestinal medicine/surgery at S Medical University should record that I am a pharmacist, but I wonder if this description is not included in the medical records for plastic surgery this time. The supervising pharmacist did not ask for any information regarding this. 　There were no particular comments from the ward pharmacist regarding medication guidance, but I believe that there were no cases in which there were any problems with medication administration during this hospitalization in terms of symptoms.
