日本の原爆被害者団体協議会（被団協）が「ノーベル平和賞」を受賞したと一昨日ノーベル委員会が発表した。原爆被害者は原子爆弾を落とした米国ではなく、日米戦争を始めた日本政府に補償を求めており、「被団協」の始まりはそこにあったと思われる。私は原子爆弾を落とした米国にも3割くらいの責任が残っていると思っているだろうと勝手に思っているが、サンフランシスコ条約やその後の日米安保の関係から考えると米国の責任を問うのは難しい気もする。「被団協」の働きはその後「核兵器開発禁止」にも枠を広げており、その国際的活動が今回の受賞対象になっていると思われる。
