今年の台風は日本列島の真南で発生して北上しそのまま日本列島を縦断するケースが目立つ。台風１０号は遅い進路速度で進み８月２８日（水曜日）には紀州半島に上陸して琵琶湖方向に来る進路を取るらしい。問題は上陸前の８月２５日（日曜日）頃から豪雨が降るらしくて、当日予定されていた近隣自治会主体の「ボランティア交流サマーガーデン」が早々と中止宣言を出し、買っていたアルコール券・食券の代金が今日返還された。誠に残念である。

　我が家は毎年秋にその年の新米（一袋３０Kg）を３袋知り合いの農家から仕入れているが、最近は毎年暑さと台風時期の収穫を避けるために年々納入時期が早められている。今年は台風１０号の来襲の影響を避けるため収穫が１０日ほど早められ、新米が明日（８月２５日）に納入となるらしい。ウクライナ紛争のために燃料価格が高騰し新米価格は６０Kg９,０００円となっており、昨年より１０００円根上がっている。
