今日は早朝からパリ五輪の男子サッカー「日本 vs イスラエル」（午前３時～５時）を観戦していた。女子代表も含めて中２～３日に１戦あるし、観戦するのはサッカーだけではないので観戦する方も中々大変だ。結果は１－０で日本が勝利しベスト８になると共に予選リーグ（Ｄグループ）１位で通過して準々決勝から始まる決勝トーナメントに進むことが決まった。次戦は優勝候補のスペインとの対戦だが五輪は予想実力を出せないことも大いにあるので余り気にしていない。五輪サッカーチームはＯＡ（オーバーエイジ）を３人まで加えることが出来る訳だが、日本チームは今回ＯＡ無しの唯一のチームだそうだ。ＯＡの加入はメリットもデメリットもあり、例えばメリットはＯＡの技術・経験の導入、デメリットはＯＡへの気遣い・遠慮であろうか？　今回の日本チームは「チームに課された問題を同じ年齢のチーム員全員で考え実行する姿勢・成長する」を目指していると考えられる。今は、その姿勢が＋に出ていると見られ、せめて五輪ベストまでは獲得したいものである。
